RoboCupboard is an AI-enabled autonomous garment care system. An XY gantry steam-presses and UV-C sanitises every shirt in your co-living facility — hands-free, overnight, on a GCaaS subscription.
B2B pilot slots for co-living operators in Bangalore — 2026
Process
Hang shirts on the 10-garment rail. The AI profiles each item — fabric weight, wrinkle pattern — before the cycle begins.
Dual-axis stepper motors drive a ceramic steam nozzle in overlapping horizontal passes at ±0.5 mm precision.
A timing belt gear drive rotates the hanger 180°. The gantry repeats the same XY pass on the back of the garment.
Dual-side 265 nm LED arrays irradiate the garment inside the UV-opaque enclosure, eliminating bacteria and odour.
Forced air circulation through a HEPA + carbon filter module removes steam residue and particulates from the chamber.
Garment exits the cycle wrinkle-free and sanitised. Next shirt advances automatically. Full 10-garment load in 80–120 min.
